Hi there, I have been writing a dissertation and am stuck on a chapter that I need help with in the introduction. In general I am writing about uveitis, in particular the non infectious form and need help writing down the specific diagnostics , pathogenesis and the treatment option that I am writing my thesis about which is on the medication used against the Inter Leukin 6 molecule. The following are the paragraph sub divisions in the headings and underneath is the general idea I want the section to be about to help you out. 2) Diagnostics of Uveitis (in general the diagnostics of uveitis where exclusion of infectious is important). All the clinical tests that are important with differentials. 3) Immune Privilege of the eye (Normal pathogenesis of the eye starting with the immune privilege which is how the eye is related to brain and how no inflammatory cells are able to enter eye for e.g no T cell, no Antigen presenting cell as these would cause damage to eye. Include about the pathogenesis of non infectious uveitis and how this immune privilege is not working properly) 4) Inflammatory cascades involved in uveitis (In general about the cascades that are included like Th1 (IFN-gamma) , Th17 (IL-17), regulatory t cells and most importantly end with Inter Leukin 6 as this is main inter leukin for the next part. 5) The role of IL-6 signal cascade which is pro-inflammatory and role in uveitis. 6) Current Therapy against IL6 used for non infectious uveitis today (like TNF-A blockers , CD20 antagonists , IL6 receptor antagonists etc . Just a general paragraph about these for current treatments available but have a lot of systemic side effects such as toxicity which makes them not that great ) 7) Modulation of the IL6 pathway for therapy against IL6 It is important to talk about this therapy of IL6 as my thesis is about a new therapy we have against the IL6 as an anti-inflammatory . Any good information you can find about IL6 in therapy of uveitis
